The Need
When a child is born, new parents are filled with joy and a profound sense of responsibility. They face the challenges of raising their child, especially in today’s financially demanding environment. Families with limited financial resources struggle to meet these new demands. This holiday season, we invite you to join forces with us to support families with infants, helping them cover their basic needs and provide what their new family member requires.
Our Goal
With your invaluable help, this holiday season, our ultimate goal is to cover the needs of 60 families with infants aged 0-12 months by raising the amount of €100,000.
The first interim goal of this campaign is to raise €20,000 to include the first 12 beneficiary families in our program.
The beneficiary families included in the program will be able to have access to food and essential goods* through vouchers at major supermarket chains for 6 months.
About the “Support for Vulnerable Families” Program
The “Support for Vulnerable Families” program includes families with minors who meet income and social criteria, following referrals from municipal social services and other agencies to Together for Children. The Together for Children social service prioritizes requests for support and includes families in the program based on merit, following transparent procedures.
Specifically, we request:
• Social history from referral
• E9 tax declaration
• Unemployment card
• Copy of ID
• Diagnosis for medical issue or disability (if applicable)
• Family status certificate
• Housing lease (if applicable)
The program supports the most vulnerable families for 6 months, regardless of nationality, religion, or political beliefs. Each family’s file is protected by privacy laws for sensitive personal data.
