The Need

Child protection facilities have increased needs and face many challenges. The rise in prices of basic goods has further complicated their daily management. Our goal is to support them and simultaneously bring joy to the children hosted in these facilities.

This Easter, we invite you to join forces and provide meals through vouchers to 600 children hosted in child protection facilities in various areas of Greece.

Our Goal

With your valuable help, this Easter, our goal is to cover the nutrition of 600 underage children hosted in child protection facilities, raising a total of €60,000.

The initial goal is to cover meals for 100 children by raising €10,000.

The beneficiary facilities will have the opportunity to purchase food through vouchers at large supermarket chains for 1 month.

About the "I Care, I Offer" Program

The "I Care I Offer" program was created in 2012 to support children living in facilities and/or supported by child protection agencies. More than 200 agencies across Greece participate in the program's network, which supports 18,000 children annually by providing food, basic necessities, school supplies, toys, clothing, footwear, and furniture.

The program aims to reduce socio-economic inequalities and create better living conditions for children and their families while also helping to upgrade facilities. Goods are collected at the facilities of "Together for Children" throughout the year, in collaboration with schools of all levels, private sector companies, individuals, as well as the Food Bank. They are then evaluated, sorted, and offered to partner agencies nationwide according to their needs.

About "Together for Children”

"Together for Children" has been working since 1996 to protect thousands of children in our country. It offers a wide range of services with the goal of ensuring that every child in every corner of Greece has access to sustainable living conditions and equal opportunities. The work of "Together for Children" focuses on poverty alleviation, health and mental health, education, support for member organizations comprising the Union "Together for Children," as well as support for populations affected by natural disasters.

"Together for Children" is a Non-Profit Civil Partnership operating on the principles of financial transparency. It relies on resources from corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and the organization of cultural, sports, and other events in Greece and abroad.
